Eligibility Criteria
- For Undergraduate Students:
• Must have completed/appeared in 2nd year (4th semester)
• Must have secured at least 85% marks in Class 12th - For Postgraduate / Research Scholars:
• Must have completed/appeared in 1st year (2nd semester) of PG program
• Must have scored at least 70% marks in graduation - For Recent Graduates Awaiting Higher Studies:
• Must have 70%+ cumulative marks in UG/PG
• Can apply within 6 months from declaration of final result
Niti Aayog Internship Dates 2026 (TBA)
- Monthly Application Window: 1st to 10th of each month (e.g., January 1–10, February 1–10, etc.).
- Lead Time Requirement: You must apply at least 2 months before your desired internship start date, but no more than 6 months in advance.
- Example: To intern in April 2026, you should apply between January 1–10, 2026.
- Financial Year Limit: A candidate can apply for an internship only once per financial year (April 1 to March 31)
Who Can Apply?
The internship is open to:
• Undergraduate students (UG) in 2nd year and onward
• Postgraduate students (PG) from any discipline
• PhD or research scholars from recognized institutions
• Students from both Indian and foreign universities are eligible
• Applicants must be enrolled at the time of applying
Note: Students who have completed their course are not eligible.
Terms of Engagement
• Selected interns will be attached to specific divisions or verticals based on their area of interest and academic background
• A minimum of 75% attendance is required for the completion certificate
• No accommodation or stipend will be provided
• Interns will submit a report/presentation at the end of the internship
