Selection Process & Realities

Merit-Based: Selection is primarily based on your cumulative marks/CGPA up to the 3rd year.

Tie-Breaker: If scores are identical, the elder candidate (by DOB) gets the preference.

No Accommodation: DLRL does not provide any hostel, transport, or medical facilities. You must arrange your own stay in Hyderabad.

Final Certificate: You will only receive the certificate and the final ₹15,000 installment if you complete the full 180-day tenure.

Is there an interview?
In most cases, selection is merit-based, but DLRL reserves the right to hold an “interaction” or interview if needed.
Can students from other branches apply?
Only ECE, CSE, Mechanical, and related branches (EIE/ETC/IT) are eligible. Civil or Chemical engineering students are not eligible for this specific lab.
What happens after I get selected?
You will be notified via email. Once selected, you must obtain a Police Verification Certificate and a formal NOC from your college before joining.
Our Advice: If you are from an AICTE-approved college and have a 70%+ aggregate, apply immediately. Hyderabad is a hub for defense electronics, and this experience is invaluable.
