About the Program

Chennai Smart City Limited (CSCL), a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) under the Greater Chennai Corporation, is inviting applications for full-time internships under various urban innovation verticals. The aim is to engage young talent in real-world smart city projects like digital infrastructure, mobility, waste management, sustainability, and GIS-based planning.

Interns will:

• Work under urban innovation, ICT, or development projects

• Gain hands-on experience with government data and systems

• Collaborate with city engineers, planners, and consultants

• Contribute to live projects like Namma Chennai App, Smart Poles, Urban Mobility Dashboards, etc.

✅ Eligible Candidates:

• Final-year students or recent graduates from Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Data Science, or IT

• Candidates must be available full-time in Chennai

• Strong communication and documentation skills

Terms of Engagement

• Interns will be engaged for 8–12 weeks

• Workdays: Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM (Hybrid may be considered)

• Interns are assigned to functional teams under expert supervision

• Monthly stipend of ₹25,000 will be paid via DBT or cheque

Number of Openings: Around 10–15 per batch (based on project requirement)
